Hello , im currently running a radeon hd 6850 on a core i3 2100 3.1 ghz dual. Now i read somewhere that I have a cpu bottleneck, what cpu should I upgrade to, to get the most out of my gfx.
Thank you

I would suggest getting an i5 processor to withstand the bottlenecking. And also, if you can, upgrade the GPU as well. I would recommend upgrading to the GTX 770; if you want to have an adequate gaming experience, then a I5 4670k would be the best option. Also, if you wish to upgrade, then also upgrade the PSU to 650w.

if your mobo can accomodate an ivy bridge i5 or an i7(which will probably can, with a bios update) that would be best but with also a gpu upgade.only a cpu upgrade wont do much, except you are mostly playing online games like (wow, lol , neverwinter...). the cpu scaling on such games is quite big!
