Upgrading my motherboard and CPU please help!

Upgrading my mother board and my CPU. These are my current specs http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02016581&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en

"HP Pavilion Elite HPE-210y Desktop PC "

Everything on that specs link is current except for GPU and PSU. My GPU is a Geforce GTX 560 Ti, my PSU is a corsair 650w.

I am currently running DDR3 RAM 8g total.
Is there anything else I will have to upgrade in terms of replacing my CPU and mother board? Any suggestions as to what kind of CPU and motherboard I should get? I have a $700 budget

I'm looking to use this PC for MMO / modern gaming.

if you already have the gpu and psu, why not grab a new case to help all your new components breath a little easier. as for the cpu or motherboard, it depends which route oyu want to take, AMD or Intel.

for gaming you wont see much of a 5-10% discrepancy between the two. When you get into video editing, rendering and single core performance id lean towards the intel, but bang for your buck? AMD all the way. Sure lets say you play bf4 and get 50fps with the lets say amd 8350 but you get 55 fps with a lets say 4670k was it worth $100 dollars to do it? I still use a amd 720 BE with a 7870 and still havent had any issues running most gameso n 1080p and others on 720p. Just do a little research and decide what you think is best for you.
