So it wouldn't harm the CPU I can still get it to some one to fix it and get it right .... And one more question they can reinstall it with the PC assembled right so it wouldn't take time
The person will have to open of the sides of the case and unscrew the motherboard, lif it up on top of something like a box, uninstall the current cooler, wipe off the thermal paste with 90-99% alcohol and apply the new thermal paste on top of the CPU (it usually comes with the cooler) and put the new cooler on top of the CPU so it attaches to the thermal paste, install the cooler so it stays on the motherboard. This all can be done in 30min or less.
