Bought a 4570 about a month ago, Is it worth while getting 4670k?

Just built my first Gaming PC. It's all running smoothly but now it seems suddenly the prices have shot down for 4670k (I think when i typed in anything above 4570 all websites instantly presumed I7 when I first chose what to buy).

Is it worth upgrading from the 4570 to the 4670k? I've never done any of the overclocking etc so have absolutely no experience. I use to only play games on them not work on them so I'm extremely nooby when it comes to specs, equipment etc. My current gear is below

Mobo: Asus Maximus VI Hero
Processor: I5 4570 3.2Ghz
Heatsink: Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo (Air cooler)
GPU: Geforce GTX 760
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
HDD: 500GB seagate barracuda 7200RPM 16mb
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Also: Anyone know any software to monitor CPU cooler fan speed/temp and adjust it as The ones I've tried all say "Not compatible with your heatsink"

Solution
If it is for gaming then you don't need to sell it. Both CPUs will game at the same fps. If you want to improve the fps and settings then upgrade the GPU not CPU.

envy14tpe as well

Thanks! I wanted to pick both as best solution but I can't! Is it really worth overclocking or will the performance not even be noticeable? saying that though... If i overclock will I need a better heatsink to control the temps? Also do either of you have an answer to CPU temp/fan speed monitor software?

aha sounds about right! My final choice on GPU was based on "Well this one comes with blackflag" :p I was going to go with the titan but budgets stopped me. Do I have to start another thread to ask other questions or can I exploit this one while you are here? :)

Ok thank you! Is it worth getting a second HDD specifically for my OS to be installed on? If so what type am I best looking for.

Do you know any software for monitoring the heatsink temps and fan speeds (possibly adjusting them) without having to turn PC off and go into Bios?

What should I look for when upgrading a GPU?

That is all thank you :)

HDDs: I always go Western Digital. I have a Black and Blue. I only recommend Black for warranty. Otherwise I can't tell the speed difference at all.

Monitor temps programs: CPUID Hardware Monitor or Open Hardware Monitor. I use both for different reasons but Open Hardware Monitor seems to be my #1 choice for the options it has.

Your GPU is ok, but if you want to max out BF4 you might need to upgrade.

Ok thank you very much both of you!

You have a Z87 mobo (really good one too). You can always wait a year or two and upgrade to the new "K" cpu. Since you already have the cpu there is no point in upgrading for gaming. Just focus on the GPU.

If you want to improve your overall system, then SSD is great. As mentioned Crucial M500 is a decent and cheap choice for a big SSD. You could also consider the Samsung Evo 250GB. It is blazing fast and good quality. However, this will not help the gaming experience. Load times in games is not much better with SSD. I still wait and wait when I want to play BF4.
