How to overclock my i5 4670k?

Now I already know the voltage and multiplier thing but I want to be sure.

Please give me the steps to OCing. I have a great cooling setup. That is the H100i with 2 SP120 High performance editions in push mode.

What software do I use to stress it? What Do I use to monitor the temps?

I have Cinebench, CPU Z, HW monitor, Intel Burn test, Heaven and valley benchmark, OCCT, Prime 95, EVGA Precsion X and MSI AFTER BURNER

Which do I use and for what? By how much do i raise the voltage after every stable OC?

Specs:

i5 4670k 3.4ghz
H100i
MSI Z87 GD65
8GB G.skill ripjaw 1600mhz 1.5v ram
sapphire toxic r9 280x
1TB Seagate barracuda 7200rpm HDD
XFX 750w 80+ gold fully modular high end PSU.

Thanks

when you boot your pc, press your delete key with the msi motherboard screen, you can select the OC genie button at the top left and that should overclock it automatically to 4GHZ upwards, if you want to manually go to OC settings, adjust the Cpu frequency to whatever you want using the + key when its highlighted, make sure to up the voltage but try not to go over 1.35 volts (just to be safe)

no the cpu frequency will be auto, click + and it will really low and CPU voltage you will need to scroll down the bios on OC settings an up it to around 1.25 volts if your cpu is 4.3Ghz or around that

As stated in the other thread, go with stock voltage.

http://www.overclockers.com/3step-guide-to-overclock-intel-haswell

The easiest way to see how far your particular chip will go is to set the voltage manually at 1.25 V, set all cores to run the same multiplier, then start raising that multiplier until you run into instability.

I have to correct my previous statement, I forgot that in overclocking your chips after the 1st gen i series of processors, increasing the multi is the easier route. Only when you want to start messing about things will you wan to up the BCLK.

So go about increasing multiplier at stock voltages, and try keeping it around 1.25~1.27 and no more. Though you should add a grain of salt to that number ;)

Dont think the 1.245 is worth wasting my time cause 1.256 is still good for 4ghz and its OC gene so it cant hurt

Can you please do this for me
EXAMPLE:
4.2 - 1.25

if stable

do 4.3 -1.26

Just so I know if i get a BSOD anywhere, where to stop

A tiny list of that will help.
