Thank you for your help logainofhades , i will have to find out whats the best cpu or most cores i can use in this board , and work from there, thank you guys .

My link may not work directly, but there is still a cpu support list in the Tech support tab. It lists this cpus as the fastest:
Intel Core™2 Duo 2.4G E6600 1066 4MB 65W Conroe P
Intel Core™2 Duo 2.66G E6700 1066 4MB 65W Conroe P
Intel Core™2 Extreme 2.93G X6800 1066 4MB 75W Conroe P
And as logainofhades says, it is an old platform and the system will not gain much performance with a fast CPU.

well we all have to start learning with the cheap parts and some system to take to bits , rather an old one that i can make a little better and still sell than break a newer one that cost loads to get parts for ,
and thanks for the cpu links as the Intel Core™2 Extreme 2.93G X6800 1066 4MB 75W Conroe P will do perfectly for what i want it for .

You can start with low end new parts to learn, and build up as you go along. That is how I did things. Something like this would get you started. Could have went a bit cheaper, but wanted to give a bit of upgrade potential as well without going crazy on price. If your drives in your current rig are SATA, you can reuse those as well, to save a bit more for now.
