Asus M5A97 R2.0 Bios chip direction?

Well, good to be here again in a way
I was having a slight derp moment when messing with the bios chip.
I know i should have checked beforw hand but I got distracted because my friend came in.

I would like to know which direction the BIOS chip sets in the socket. One side has a small notch. Also the socket have a small triangle on it and and on the other side it have the letters bp. Can anyone help?
Mind my spelling I'm on a phone.

I think you mean the CPU, the BIOS on that motherboard is soldered on and couldn't be removed.

The CPU will only fit in one way. There should be a gold triangle on one corner of the CPU which will line up with the triangle on the socket.
