Corsair dominator 4gb ddr2 working at 667 mhz

i have corsair dominator 1066 mhz 4gb ram and have my core 2 quad q9300 overclocked to 3 ghz . But it shows the speed of Ram in the task manager as 667 mhz . why is that? Cant it be working full at 1066 mhz

Auto memory setting don't always work, so you have to set it up manually in the BIOS.

If you overclocked, I'm sure you can find the setting.

Task manager does´t allays show the correct speed, use cpu-z to check it

it shows dram frequence 400mhz .. and not 533 mhz

You didn't do the overclock????

Go into the BIOS, and look for the memory settings, and change from auto to manual.
Then set the memory.
I don't know all the BIOSs in the world, but they are not hard to figure out.

i simply tweeked the cpu clock speed and did not do any thing to the memory clock
