BF4 FPS Problem

I have a mid-end PC and the only way I can play with a consistent 60 fps is with the lowest settings available.

When I use the nvidia geforce experience optimal settings, it sets my settings to high/ultra but I get around 35-40 fps ( lower on some maps).

Below are my PC specs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was experiencing the same thing, turns out my cpu was throttling due to high heat so I replaced the cpu fan and it's working better now. You might check your cpu speed when running bf4 and see if it drops or is throttling.

Yes.
I used a program that helps unpark my cores, but it said my cores were already unparked. I thought it was my cpu that was holding me back.

Does it stay at 4.0ghz though or is it dropping between 4.0 and 1 or 2? Mine was trying to keep itself cool by dropping down to 1 ghz. I had to disable cool n quiet in BIOS to make sure it would stay at max ghz.

I really don't know how to help. Sorry. Unfortunately, BF4 is either kind with you or a hell. Did you try resetting to default clocks? Although I'm not sure if it can have any to no impact.

I can't see your specs for some reason but sounds like cpu and video card are strong enough to run it but something else is going wrong. Only other place to check would be RAM. Other than that I really don't know either. Maybe the BF4 install itself or something...

Thanks for your help guys. Yeah, its a really tricky issue. It feels like higher end PCs are having probems. I'll try to do a clean wipe and see where that takes me. Thanks again.

Absolutely. The next DLC delay's main reason is because they need to get a patch fixing performance issues with high-end PCs. I hope for you the next patch will solve it for you.
