Need help to oc my gpu and cpu

SPECS :
CPU : AMD FX 6300
CPU FAN: CM VORTEX PLUS
GPU: XFX RADEON R9 280x
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL9
HDD: Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB
PSU : Corsair TX V2 750W PSU
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3, Socket-AM3+

The reason why i want to overclock is because it's laggy on some games, fps lag.. I have never overclocked before so please be nice and explain well

I don't recommend overclocking on that motherboard because it will kill the voltage regulators. Maybe you will be able to squeeze a little bit more speed from your CPU if you enable Intel Xtreme Memory Profile on you RAM and that usualy boosts the CPU's frequency @ 3800MHz by Turbo Core Technology. That's it, get a proper motherboard if you realy want to overclock. Also, you'll need a very good ventilated case in order to keep the entire system cool when you are overclocking. And a final thought, never get a Green version of an HDD again, they are the slowest possible and affect your system performance.
