im really wondering wich of the two would be a better setup I noticed that 2x 750TI equal 9fps higher then 1x 280x but am wondering because I know microstuttering and other things associated with sli might make them even but im not sure

my real thought is that the 750ti from NVidia is a brand new arcutecture and wondered because of that if it might not do better then a 280x for bout 100bucks cheaper??

2. would the picture quality be better on the new 750ti's from NVidia

Solution
the nvidia gtx 750 Ti does not support SLI. Get the best one you can as long as the graphic card can work with your system! in this case 280x is better than 750 Ti, but more $$$ and need more power. If you are not in rush, just wait for the 800 as danzas4321 mentioned above!

The picture quality has nothing to do with what brand of graphics card, only the power of the graphics card, in this case the 280X is better.
