its the only one i have atm

and is that cpu cooler good enough my friend recommended it

and as for that mobo will i need to upgrade that or should that be good or is there a cheaper one that gives the same performance

and also how much performance difference is the amd fx 8350 over the i7-4770k
just out of curiosity

That PSU is easily enough, no need to worry about that.

I know that's a good cooler, but I actually have no idea how much heat a 4770k produces so I can't tell if it's good enough. Let someone else answer that.

I don't know a real world comparison for your uses, but I know a 4770k generally benchmarks 30-50% faster than an FX-8350.

I've heard stories of a 4770k going up to 5Ghz in rare cases. According to a quick Google search, 4Ghz is considered a pretty common OC for the 4770k.

I guess I shouldn't skim next time. Then it doesn't matter. Intel all the way.
