Best Budget Board for 8320

I need help choosing a motherboard for my 8320, I currently have the 970AG46 and it's terrible cause apparently the VRM can't handle my CPU?

I have the 970a-g46 for my FX-8350 for over 4 months now without overheating issue at all. I do not overclock, so that is probably why. However, the ASRock 990FX is great for the 8 cores.

It's not overclocked, I freeze like every 5 minutes or so.

Which one is better? I don't get power design nor chipset.

The Asus is a higher class board having the 990X chipset, the Gigabyte which is a 970 board has better VRM and power phase design than the MSI so it can even overclock an FX8320.
The Asrock 990FX extreme 3 has problems with FX 8 core. http://www.overclock.net/t/946407/amd-motherboards-vrm-info-database

There is no reason to go higher than the 970UD3P Gigabyte if you are not going to overclock unless you are planning dual GPU's the 990FX UD3 is a great choice as well and a step up from the Asus.

Just wondering, does your motherboard have VRM heatsinks on them? Mine does, and there is a fan above it so I don't get any issues over there.

It's just how it is when I got it out of the box, and no there are no fans on it.

The MSI 970G46 has heat sinked VRM's but still has problems especially if people mount tower coolers that limit the airflow over the heat sinks.
