after doing some reflecting i have decided to make some changes however i would like someone who is more well versed in the field of gaming rigs to give there opinion. In my opinion a beautiful looking game needs to be played to it's fullest. my current specs are
Motherboard:m6a97
Ram: 4gb ddr3 patriot
hard drive:1tb WD
cpu: 6 core amd processor
gpu: asus gtx 660ti oc edition
here is what i want to change first off bump up the ram i have been meaning to do so but due to the steep increase in ram prices it's becoming as expensive as an ssd drive which has gone down. however im getting another 4gb to make it 8...soon. another change is i'm switch the 6 core for an intel i7-920 quad core. consequently resulting in me having to get a new motherboard haven't decided on that yet. later on i plan to sli my 660 ti as prices are going down maybe throw in another 1tb hard drive and some ssd. so what do you think my fps is meh. i play sleeping dogs on medium settings with a solid 60 fps. on extreme can't run it and on high dips between 24-41 fps. Assuming its within my price budget what do you think i can't stand not playing on ultra settings i think it's my cpu i do own alot of cpu intensive games.

i have a good deal lined up for i7(less than 100$ don't worry not it's not dodgy) motherboard won't support intel an ram has tripled in price it is astonishing but yeah ill do that first. no i haven't OC my cpu my rig has lack of cooling currently need more fans it feels a little unstable cpu seems to be running hot. I can play skyrim on ultra with 8AA any idea why sleeping dogs is struggling its a shame because its just such a beautiful game y'know thank you for the quick reply i appreciate it
