theres no way the 2400 will bottleneck a 760 even oc'd. crysis 3 is a buggy mess at the intro level but should give a solid 40-60+ on max settings x4fsaa @1080p for the rest of the game.

we are at the point not where over-clocked cpu's make very little difference to game performance. as long as you have a minimum of 2.4ghz on an i series quad core you have enough bandwidth to handle any gpu without over-clocking.

no way you have to get your equipment checked if an intel cpu bottlenecks with a gtx 760

no problem bottlenecking is usually reserved for amd users this is coming from first hand experience although amd is a nice budget build intel you get what you pay for

I would have to say absolutely not. Make sure you have atleast 8 GB of ram, this is the sweetspot, and make sure your psu has enough power as well as there can affect performance

this day and age 16gb wont hurt for futureproofing purposes simulations games are starting to go past 8gb :/
