Which of these is better?

I know that performance wise, these two cards are similar but their perfroamce also varies on the different games.

Other than that, are there any other benefits ? They both look cool , have pretty decent support, but is there any other things that make them special ? I might even take the smallest things into consideration XD
 
The R9 270 will support Mantle, which is currently only used in a couple games but will improve performance.

The GTX 660 supports PhysX, which many games use to allow advanced physics and improve performance as it relates to physics.

It depends on what games you will play, if you're going to play games that support PhysX like Borderlands, then NVIDIA is dominating, but if you're going to play games that don't support PhysX and support Mantle like Battlefield 4, then AMD is dominating, it's your choice. You won't be dissapointed by neither of those.
 
The R9 270 takes a bit more power than the GTX 660. Not really enough to be a concern.

One thing, though.

Mantle on the R9 270 improves performance in some games, but doesn't add new effects.
PhysX on the 660 improves performance in some games, but also adds new effects in a few games that are otherwise disabled. I'd give the edge to the 660 in this regard.
 


No idea. XFX and EVGA both have good reputations for little details like that though.

I believe the R9 270 may also support DX11.2, but no games actually use that and I doubt any considerable number ever will, so that's kind of redundant.

Edit:
Actually, Nvidia cards like the 660 also allow adaptive vsync in the drivers. I don't actually like adaptive vsync, but it's there.
