I looked on the Corsair website and it says the Corsair H60 website is designed for "Quad-core or highly overclocked dual core processors."

So will it cool an overclocked 8320? Or am I just overanalyzing this. I couldnt find a watt rating on it.

My Hyper 212 EVO kinda peaks at that overclock.

So you're saying its not much better than the 212 EVO?

Will the Cooler Master Seidon 120V cool it better than H60?

Teach me!

But the H100 won't fit in my case. It's a Thermaltake V3 Black edition. There is no where to put a 275mm long radiator in it. If you look at pics of it on the site, there are two vents on the top, where it would probably fit, but the thing is my RAM slots are in the way. So i cant install anything there.

well... my antec 902 isn't built for that h100 either (it has a 200mm fan mounted on the top, and no mounts for a 240mm radiator), but the price was right ($50) so i decided to make a project of it. A bottle of superglue, and some velcro tape i bought from walmart ($5.50 total) later and i had my h100 mounted to the top of my case. That velcro works great, no drilling needed. and it clears the ram just fine.

long story short, i suspect you could mount it if you found such a deal

as for finding killer deals. it's a lot easier if you simply wait until they come up. up until i found that h100, i wasn't even planning to get a new CPU cooler. My 1080p 23" monitor was found on craigslist for $60 (pure chance that one; I was looking for a 1080p monitor for 3 months... my budget was $80; and had given up that same day and was going to get a 1600x900 monitor for $80 later that day. I checked craigslist one last time before going back to the merchant to get it, and found that monitor posted, had it in my hands 3 hours later)

Cores shouldn't noticeably effect the temps. However, maybe if you bought some better fans for it as it can hold a fan on each side of the radiator. I recommend the Corsair SP120 120 mm fans as they will make a surprising difference it cooling. They cost about £15-£20 or $22ish for a pair and they have quiet editions and performance editions. I hoped this helped.

yep... two strips at the ends of the rad, then two strips to the inside-top of the case on opposite sides of the fan. I centered it as much as possible... works fine, as "most" of the radiator vents right into the giant 200mm exhaust fan. looks sharp too.

better yet, it makes taking the rad out very simple... just give it a pull and it comes right out. goes in easy too. holds it pretty tightly too. never seen it fall (or even start) yet; and i manhandle that case sometimes.
