This is what I just submit on the BIOSTAR website: their tech support form- they are closed today:

I assembled the machine last night, it ran fine. This morning, streaming video online, the sound coming from the speakers exploded- it sounded like static. Then the monitor went into power-save mode: blank/off.
I reset, got to the Windows boot screen offering the choices: Safe Mode, Regular, etc.. I entered regular mode, it showed the animated Windows logo signifying the OS was loading. Then the screen went blank again before the login prompt appeared.
I reset, hit DEL to enter BIOS. The machine froze. I powered down for 10 seconds, entered BIOS successfully. Temperatures normal, hardware all recognized. I reboot, proceeded to load Windows.
Was able to log in this time, however the machine froze while filling out this form. This happened twice.

Any help here much appreciated! What a drag. I already sent back a defected video card, ECS motherboard. I'm starting to think I should ditch the computers and break out an Etch-A-Sketch. Older seems more reliable: I am back on me Athlon 3800 machine.
