Hi all, I just wondered if anyone had tried modifying their PSU cables for better cable management. I've tried searching but not found what i'm looking for.
Basically, where I have 3 HDs in a row, the power cable has far too much cable and extra connectors that it looks messy and in my opinion is putting strain on the connectors. Would i be able to cut out the extra cable and connectors, and just twist+solder the wires back together?
I see no reason why this wouldn't work, the only crazy idea i can think is that will it affect the current/voltage/amps by having a shorter wire and 2 less connectors to go through?
Cheers in advance for any help.
