Hello friends I'm planning to make a budget PC in August-September. I'm using these other components (See Below)

I'm little bit confused with my GPU between Saphire HD 7770, 7790, 7850. I dont want to spend much money but I want reasonable performance. Please share your views which GPU should I buy

Processor
AMD Athlon X4 750k

Mother Board
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35

RAM
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB

Power supply
Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU

Monitor
Asus VS247H-P 23.6-Inch Full-HD LED-Lit LCD Monitor

7770 Passmark 2156
7790 Passmark 3021
7850 Passmark 3712

I would describe the 7770 and the 7790 the high end of entry level graphics cards, and the 7850 the low end of high performance gaming.

About a 35% difference between the 7770 and the 7850.
The 7790 is about half way in between.

Obviously, the 7850 would be the best choice for performance.
For price to performance ratio, there are other options.

If you give me a budget to work with, I'll try and find the best GPU you can get for the money.

I shouldn't do math in my head.
The 7850 is 58% better than the 7770

hd 7850 isn't 58% better. it is just around 10 to 15 fps more in games unless you go 1080p with many very high setting then the 2gb vram will give you even more fps. still 7850 is just around 10 to 20 % improvement over hd 7790. 7850 is the best among the three.

Hi millwright,
I agree Saphire HD 7850 is best among all three GPU's that I mentioned above. But As I said I can compromise little bit with performance, If I can save money. As you can see from this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzf7Q2-A7AU

7790 has an average FPS pretty close to 7850. At the least I'll by 7770. But I'm asking should I spend 30$ more for 7790. Does is it worth it. Some reviews over youtube says it(7790) heats more than 7770, Is it really a problem.

millwright the chart what you showed says 7790 costs 159$ and 7850 costs 154$. Is it right I think 7850 is more costly than 7790, Its something around 199$.

One more thing whats the difference between Saphire Based cards and XFX based cards. I saw there is little bit difference between prices of "Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7790" and "XFX ATI Radeon HD 7790". XFX ATI Radeon HD 7790 seems little bit cheaper.

I didn't notice but apparently yes. IT HAS A PROMO CODE ALSO FOR AN EXTRA 10%
That is a good deal, if you like Power Color.
It is probably the oldest brand video card, but it is always the cheapest.

Saphire and XFX are good brands, but the dual fan XFXs have a lifetime warranty.

The 7770 is a solid graphics card, that performs well in many games.
Farming Simulator 2013 FPS: (from my experience)
Min 45, Adv 55, Max 60

Metro 2033 FPS: (Found on PcPer.com)
Min 18, Adv 28.8, Max 47

I would recommend the Hd 7770 for games like, Team Fortress 2, Farm Simulator, Loadout. It's not the greatest at running games like BF4, Metro 2033, Crysis 3. For these games I would recommend
the 7870 or the newer r9 270x. You will get better performance with the r9 270x than the 7870. It really depends what you are playing. The 7770 is still capable of playing the graphically intense games, but may lack in performance. I would have to recommend you get the r9 270x if you have the money.

If you can get the 7870 (180$ on Ebay) you'll get a massive boost in performance. But if you can't shell out the money, then the 7770 will work just fine, you can play any game out there at 1080p.

Hi Equilibrio,
I understand 7850 is better in terms of performance and other aspects. But as I said I wont be able to spend money more than 140$.

Get a HD 7770 cause itnis the best for your budget, and cause i'm too using it so I recommend it , anyways you'll just get a difference of around 15-20 fps so go for a 7770.
Happy GAMING!!!

Then your best choice is a 750ti.
You should be able to find one for $150 nicely.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/331163801200?ssPageName=STRK:ME...

These 2 sold for around 143$. If you have the patience, you can wait for a great deal on Ebay. If you can't get it off there, I'd suggest picking up the 7770 for around 100$ and use the rest of the money to invest in a cpu cooler.

(Cooler) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Then you'd be able to overclock your CPU and get even more FPS out of your games. I'd say after that you'd be a happy camper.

But if you do want to just dump your 150$ onto a graphics card, you have 2 options.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Both of these cards will work perfect with your setup. They both put out about the same performance, but 1 has 2gb and the other 1gb. The 2gb will come in handy overall, but not to much. Unless you plan on duel monitoring. There both neck to neck, with the 750 pulling ahead by a little.

Hello friends I found GTX 750(/750 Ti) has less price as compared to 7790 and has little bit better performance. But this video shows

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XodC6LWmyV0

gameplay in HD 7790 is more clear as compared to GTX 750Ti. Please share is this is card is good as compared to XFX(/Saphire) Raedon 7770 and XFX(/Saphire) Raedon 7790

You don't "need" a cooler, but it could come in handy. Also if you're getting the 750ti for a deal I'd say pick it up.

To be honest, the 7790 isn't even in the 750TI's league.
The 750TI might be comparable to maybe a, 7850.
But the 750ti not only uses less power, but it is new and overclocks well depending on your cooling.

It's the best option in your budget.

People are fanboys sometimes, and it shows in the fps that there isn't much of a difference. Just go for whichever you get a better deal on.

7790 or 750ti, there both good cards that will perform fairly well considering the price. I would get either,
7790 will run you $90:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

750ti will cost $160:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

and if you want improved performance, get the 7850. Costing $155. I would definitely recommend getting a 7850:

with 150$, hd 7850 is definitely the choice. it beats even gtx 750ti unless you got a 2++ years old psu or has a 450> psu. if not then just take the 7850 or 7870(if possible)

After lots of research I think I should go with AMD Radeon HD 7770 (1GB) Series. But there lots of GPU's in this series like Saphire HD 7770, XFX Radeon HD 7770, Model with 1 fan, Model with 2 fan, Ghz Edition, Core Edition etc. I'm little bit confused here please help me, which one should I buy. I wanna save as much money as I can with better performance.

If you can get GHz Edition go with that as those cards are clocked to 1000 Hz (1 GHz). At the same time I would probably go for a card with 2 fans as it gives you better cooling, thus more silent (usually). I'm not sure if you can get a GhZ edition with only one fan anyway.

Does Model with 2 Fans cost more than the one with 1 fan.

Try getting either the MSI 1gb 1 fan, or Sapphire 1gb 1 fan. The XFX 7770's are probably the worst of the bunch (not as good reviews as the others). The 2gb ASUS 7770 will give you a boost in performance (2gb of dedicated graphics memory) I'd only suggest this card if you don't plan to upgrade in the near future. Any of those 3 will do you just fine, with the ASUS 2gb coming ahead by a little, if you can get it for 10 bucks more than either the MSI or Sapphire I say go for it, if not then you'll be fine with the other 2.

Also the second fans are to keep the graphics card cooler, if you plan to overclock. But the cards on all 3 of the models I suggested run super cool with just 1, so 2 is a bit overkill. Hope this helped!!
