Ok so i have recently been surprised with a computer from my dad after constantly bugging him to build one, and its been a pretty solid computer, (XPS8700), and i am currently running 2 monitors and i really want to get a 3rd but idk if my graphics card will be able to run it, it has a gpu i can only find in pre-built computers like mine, which is the Nvidia GT 635. It has 3 ports so i am assuming it may work but i still have no idea, (BTW, i wont be playing games across all 3 moniors, I will most likely have a game on 1 and like skype and spotify open on the others)

I wouldn't recommend SLI with lower end cards, always opt out for the stronger card.
Even though your monitors are 900p, you will still need a strong enough GPU.

I would still consider the 660, 670, or a 760.

If you're only gaming on one of the monitors, then the other 2 are being used for multitasking, it could work technically, but it wouldn't be good for the lifespan for your GPU.

I recommend upgrading to something that would handle it easier, for 3 monitor setups, people would recommend 700 dollar graphics cards, but in your case if you're gaming on only one monitor at 1080p, then you could settle with a mid-range GPU.

Maybe a 660, 670, 760?

Alright, well the monitors i have are only 900p (1600x900) so i wont even need to play at 1080p more like 720, also i haven't actually opened this computer up so i dont know how many pci slots i have, but if i have another one, could running SLI help with my performance? And what card would bae able to pair up with my current card? (assuming i have another pci slot and my gpu can run in SLI)
