SSD duplication of files

I have an SSD and it seems to create duplicate files on my old HDD. When I got the SSD I cloned my HDD on to the SSD. Now I am planning to add a new larger SSD prior to upgrading my system. Will I have any problems if I add the new SSD to the system with the SSD in use and I remove the dinosaur HDD?

It actually duplicates the files. It appears to act as a mirror. When I create on the C: it duplicates it on E: when I dele a file on the C: it deletes it on E: E is my old hard drive. C: is my SSD
