System specs:
Fx 8320
M5a97 evo r2.
Enermax T-40tb air cooler
r9 270 msi gaming
cs650m gold power supply
crusial balistix sport 1600 cas 9 8gb 1 stick
fractal design r4 with 4 fans.
m500 240gb ssd
seagate 1tb.

So I am trying to overclock my cpu for quiet a long time succesfuly, but...
It seams to me that I have a bottleneck somewhere, because my gpu utilization in bf4 drops occasionally to 80% while in siege of shanghai, paracel storm and hainan resort.
I have tried overclocking with multiplier and fsb. ATM cpu specs are:
FSB multiplier 18
FSB 250
NB 2500
HT link 2500
RAM 2000 10 11 10 30 1T
CPU voltage max 1.32v on auto offset using llc on ultra high.
CPU vdda voltage 2.625v
CPU/NB voltage 1.275v
everything on auto:
nb 1.12v on auto
CnQ enabled, C1E enabled, application power management on auto, C6 disabled, SVM disabled and HPC mode disabled.

Any of you encountered something like that? I have overclocked my system following piledriver/bulldozer overclocking guide in overclocker's site.

Could any of you guide me what should vdda , nb , cpu/nb voltages should be at these settings? Also I have read people having their cpus at a lot bigger cpu voltages than 1.32, could be my problem? Also I cant stress test my cpu cause temps are reaching 70 degrees after 30 or so seconds in prime95 and I can do only 2 intel passes before having it to stop cause of temps. I dont have crashes while playing or anything like that have my gpu overclocked(1110/1500 +20 power).

Solution
At 4.4 you should have a cpu voltage of 1.38 at least give your cpunorthbridge a little boost as well if its manual setting is 1.25 bump it to 1.27-8. As well as the nb. Turn off cool and quiet and c1e

By saying that it doesnt have good power or thermal design you mean it might be trottling my cpu? I have tested pretty much all the configurations except with different voltages and now I have settled with 233x19.5( though 250x18 2500 2500 2000(ram) where making best results, but temperatures were so high during prime95 after 1 minute, I had to turn it off( I dont really like prime95 and so does he me)) with everything on auto, nb at 2363 and HT link at 2563 and that puts my auto voltage on cpu/nb voltages at last on normal (1.25v) because when I put it over 2399 auto puts it to 1.45v.I always thought that m5a97 evo r2 is a pretty damn good board for the money, I have put my stock cpu fan over the vrms, thought I prefer it cooling my cpu socket when stuck to a backplate. Also my cpu voltages seams to max out always at 1.32v when overclocked more than 4.4 ghz.

Ok so I started using offset cpu voltage mode because auto does not work, strange thing is that I do not get errors while stress testing even when at 4.5ghz with 1.32v maxing out, but while lets say playing battlefield higher voltage increases performance. With 1.4v at 4.5ghz my gpu usage wouldnt drop lower than 90% while with 4.5ghz and auto(1.32v max) it would drop to 80% and I am only using r9 270(1110/1500 +20).

Temps are fine while playing, I mean socket temp would go as high as 61 and core temp would be about 57. But I cannot stress test it because they are instantly going over 70s. I saw people having better temps even when using evo 212 and it is a bit worse than t-40tb.

Considering most games dont even come close to stressing the cpu that makes sense but if you were to play a game like saints row 4 the heat would go through the roof. But the goal is to get where you can run prime 95 for at least a half hour to just know where your temps will go. (Not counting stability) so please show me what you have for every setting and we will start from there.

Ok so I have it now at 4.5ghz with 1.368v using ultra llc with offset of +0.125v and at last my gpu usage stays at 94%+ all the time, though temperatures are at 60s while playing.
