Is my cpu holding back my 780s

Just finished my second build I'm running a fx-8320 on a crosshair v formula z and have it over clocked to 4.8 and i have 2 780 classifieds in SLI and when i get into battle field 4 it says I'm running 77fpm but it hangs on frames and locks up for a second then starts and locks up again I've run prime torture test for two hours n not lost any cores but when i switch back to factory settings it maxes at 26 frames i know my cards arnt hitting a wall so it has to be the cpu right my only though it to step the oc down to 4.6 and try again but if you have any ideas please help first experience with nvidia and i already miss my r9 270xs in crossfire
