card reader got write protected

my card reader- zebronics, all in one card reader got write protected. I mean, whenever I'm using it with any kind of sd its showing the virtues of write protected.

There must be a way to fix it! Please help me out with problem.

Depends on the reason for it being write protected. Check the actual card to make sure any physical write protection switch is not set to write protected mode. The other thing to try would be inserting the card then open up my computer and right click on the drive you want to access and go to properties. If there's an option that says Remove write-protection try toggling that and see what happens.

well it sounds award but I'm not able to get the option- the write protected toggle option you just mention. Will you please tell me the path to toggle that option. I'l be very thankful to u..

If you're on windows 7 and below you can just go to start then computer. It should be listed as a removable drive, but whatever you normally open to get into the sd card, that's what you need to go to properties on.

I think I couldn't explain to you properly. On my computer> particular drive [right click]> properties> ?????

thats where I'm getting struck. pls guide me further.

The option may or may not exist, if it doesn't then the only other options I have would be to uninstall it and reinstall it and see if it resets. If it was working fine before that solution should work.
