Hi everybody

I have an old pc from 2004 with MSI 7058 motherboard.
Two weeks ago, on day the PC stopped working, that is nothing is displayed and there is not any beep at startup.

I believed it was either the motherboard or the graphic card (Winfast PX360TD).
A friend gave me its old pc, and i replaced my motherboard and my graphic card by its materials (Asus P4G8X and ATI graphic card with AGP 8x - does not know the graphic card reference).
same behaviour--> No beep and no displays at startup.

As I have a second pc, more recent one, I changed the screen and VGA/DVI cables for checking them-->no difference.

I also replaced my PSU by the one of my friend.....same result. No beep and no displays at startup.

I only power supply the motherboard (ATX power + EZ plug + ATX12v), I removed the graphic card. Nothing new - No beep at startup.
I removed the two DIMM. No beep.
In order to be complete, I would like telling you that CPU, Chassis and PSU FAN were working as led lights on PC unit front panel and Asus motherboard.

I do not know what to do. As I am not an hardware expert, I am looking for help from the support.

Solution

Thank you for your help
I decided to reinstall my initial configuration.
I was very surprised not to have any beep at startup.
I found in the motherboard box a D bracket with 4 leds - It is a card used for debugging.
These 4 leds helped me identifying precisely my pb.
In fact, the graphic card is out of order. I found another compatible graphic card from another friend and my pc started normally.

Thank you for your help.
Strange this behaviour not to produce beeps.
I assume the Asus of my friend is...
