Okay it's time for me to ask the professionals. When it comes to computers I don't know jack sh*t. I've been on google and tried other related suggestions that were having the same problems as I, and everything has failed. And I'm limited to trying other options because of my computer knowledge. I only know basic of the basic as in changing the video settings. I know how to upgrade RAM and GPUs and that's about it. So I'm asking you guru's for help. Computers is just not my forte. Anyways here are my specs:

OS: Windows Vista sp2
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3200 Mhz
BIOS: ASUS M3N72-D
RAM: 8gb
Power Supply: 700w

When I use geforce experience and let it optimize it set everything to ultra. It runs smooth but my fps is horrible. 30s then dips to 20s. So I've tried other settings that people recommended and that still had no effect. So I tried putting everything to low in settings and that still had no effect on my fps. The only time my fps would jump up to 140-150 is when its in between games. Prior to I had a gtx 560 ti which ran smooth on bf3 but on bf4 it was choppy so I upgraded to the 760. I ran out of ideas and any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

For AMD I would suggest an FX6300 to unlock all that GPU goodness. As for intel, any from the i5 series will do the job :)

Your CPU bottlenecks the GPU. The GPU is top of the line whereas the CPU is a bit, well, mediocre. I would suggest upgrading your CPU. Also, it would be in your best interests to change your CPU from AMD to Intel, as these tend to work better with the GTX series GPUs. All the best

Thanks for the reply. As to CPU I could've sworn someone told me that AMD was geared towards gaming. But anyways with my mobo can you suggest any cpu?

Indeed AMD is more geared towards gaming, but the intel still beats it :p anyways, if you want a good price/performance CPU go with the FX-8520, although you'll get a little (and by a little I mean like 10 fps max) better performance with the intel i5
