I bought this PC about a year and a half ago, initially to fix the issue of not having a desktop (was on a budget and I got it for $430), to use photoshop and get some basic gaming in. Now, attempting to get more into pc gaming, I want to upgrade the PC.

Im no PC guru, and have been browsing these forums for a solution and came across a few threads that helped, one being this -
http://

and this http://

I was hoping for some insight on this issue, whether to upgrade (and if so, what parts would you recommend?) or just wait and get a new PC. Also those threads were about a year old too.

I want to basically play Skyrim (with some mods), Dark Souls(2), Diablos 3 (I havent played it or tried it yet) or other games on med-high settings with minimal FPS drops.

I also looked into a CPU, not sure if its compatible ("Im no PC guru" = I have general - to no idea what im doing).
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 4.0GHz - http://

I figured I would do my best into figuring it out myself first. Usually helps. And any help is greatly appreciatted Any info getting a compatible GPU is also welcome

Here are the specs of my PC

About $300, no more than $500 (for both CPU and GPU), only because I think I should just start building, or get a new PC past that range.
