up;pad is still an issue that's why ping is 73 . what was the highest upload and download it reach during test ?
  2. That was pretty much the highest i got, but my family (3 others) are using it so that probably doesn't help

    Hey there!

The internet speed you have is not all to good i must say! For (competitive) gaming you really want to upgrade your internet :) With a ping like that, you really cannot play fair.
    1. Are you connected via a cable? Or with WiFi?
    2. Check for what speeds you ordered from your deliverer (I don't know what it is called in english [Im dutch])
Do you like in USA or somthing? Because i have heard that the internet speeds can be awful in some places.

    P.S.: My internet speed: http://www.speedtest.net/result/3404800462.png
It is OVERKILL, i know, you really don't need anything near this fast for gaming (id say around 50 mb/s down/up and a reasonable ping)
  4. Thanks. I'm connected via WIFI and I ive in the UK. We recently upgraded with TalkTalk to fibre optic and it is a lot better, before my speeds we around 2.2 mb for upload and download (cringe) and we paid for around 20 even though I begged my dad for more :(

If you really want to game, i suggest you connect via a cable, it really is a lot better and you will be able to get those 20MB/Sec. Try that and do the speedtest again :)

    Can you try this?

I tried it an my results are these-
    Ping: 42ms
    Jitter: 38ms
Packet loss: Unable to test because of out of date java.

It said I would be at a disadvantage for online games :(

Alright, well maybe later you can get a cable from the router to your PC. That is my advice for now! If you have any more questions, please ask them!
