i have my intel stock cooler on with my i5 3570k at 4.0ghz and the temps hit 70c max will the tx3 bring them down i also bought arctic silver 5 thermal paste
Yes, if mounted properly, the TX3 should out-perform the OEM heatsink. For future reference, OCing with an OEM heatsink is not recommended by many. They really aren't designed to handle the additional heat generated by the CPU.
thanks and mounting it is easy and i will use a pea size for thermal paste i have a 650 wat and i have two 120 fans one blowing on the top and one on the rear as a exhaust
