How many devices or how much power will a cisco linksys e1200 hold?

I purchased a WD tv play media player and WD 2 TB external hard drive storage USB 3.0 file back up and storage unit. I also ordered an Anchor USB hub with 9 USB 3.0 data ports. I haven't received any of these units yet. (Hope what ever I do with my router that they will adapt well with these units.) I'm going to play movies on my tv in my living room from my home office.

My question will be about the Linksys e1200 router.

The next day my router wouldn't let me online. I had to take it off the tower and reconnect it into my Arris router that I got from TWC. I finally got online.
TWC said I had to call Linksys to find out what may be the problem with my router.

Called Linksys and they said I would have to Pay $29.99 to get my modom and router to sycrinize.

Would I need to purchase another router? Do I need a more powerful router if I am to use my new units? Or would I be better off paying for the units to be syncronized or could I do something to help my cisco router to work?

I appreciate any help with this.
