i am also toying around with an intel cpu and mobo. i will be able to upgade the graphics card later to a 660 ti or a 670 to just throw it out there. i want to make sure overall stability is there and no problems upgrading and ocing later.

Upgrade to a GTX 750 Ti or better and/or install more RAM.

I didn't feel the 750 ti was that much of an improvement albeit still a better card, your recommendation is solid though, what ive done so far is bought corsair vengeance 8gb (2x4) ram and overclocked my hd 7770. so far im really happy, playing bf3 at high settings getting 60fps. when i do upgrade the gpu i was thinking about the r9 270x, what do you think for around 200?

The 270x is a good card for the price. It should be a good upgrade for you, it is (for the most part) on par with the gtx 760
