Hi, When my CPU reaches hot temperatures, It proceeds to go to a normal windows shutdown, (says shutting down, gives me a chance to cancel.) This commonly happens when playing games and therefor, interrupts my current doings,

Any help would be loved, If you require more info then I can provide it.

Solution
You are reaching max Operating Temperature set by AMD/Intel.I would say you must need to re-Apply Thermal paste & Place a heatsink/CPU fan again. Also use HWmonitor to track your temperatures. You are lucky you have 64 bit Processor,32 bit processors fried in past.
