Hello, I bought a GeForce gt 640 graphic card for my dell vostro 200 computer but every time I try to turn it on it just goes to a black screen. I did upgrade the power supply to a corsair cx430. I've tried disabling the onboard graphics, booting into safe mode, and switching monitors. I know the graphic card is not broken because I tried it in another computer and it worked plus I have two of them. Do you think I should try reinstalling windows 7 or what because I am completely lost. What else could it be and what can I try. Thanks

Pc specs:
Intel core 2 duo e8400
corsair cx430 psu
3gb ram
windows 7 32 bit

yes I have already tried that but sometimes when I go into the bios and then select pci and then select pcie again and then save then It will start windows. After I am done installing the drivers and I restart the windows logo will come up
but then my monitor goes blank.

I figured it out. It turns out it was the ram. I just took out all th ram and tried each one till one worked. Pass the word on to others
