Currently I have an Asus VG248QE which has very low response time as well as being capable of 144hz but the colors are not very good. I have tried the ICC profiles as well as changing the settings the monitor has and I have tried the lightboost hack which worked but still wasn't very good. So, I need help on choosing the best IPS monitor under $300 and I want it to be 24". I use my computer mostly for gaming and that's why I chose this monitor in the first place but I don't think I am one of those guys who notices the low response time compared to high response time or the high refresh rate compared to the lower refresh rate so I would rather have a good crisp picture with great colors.
