Unable to start Maya 2013 on Windows 8.1

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)" when i try to run Maya 2013 64 bit on my Windows 8.1 64 bit, any solutions?

my system: 8GB Ram, Win 8.1 x64, Intel i5 4670K

From the above you can see that Windows 8.1 is not supported. Contact Autodesk and get more info regarding support for Win 8.1

Download and install SP2 and see whether Win 8.1 is supported

From the above, Autodesk Maya 2015 will run on Windows 8.1 Pro
