So lately when ever I am doing something on my computer like playing video games, watching twitch, youtube, or etc, I face this issue where the internet stops for a brief 10 seconds and starts up again. This also happens at random times but constantly so it's really annoying. I've also had issues where my router hasn't been able to access the internet, but i believe those have been fixed. So the only issue I have is my internet connection is disconnecting and reconnecting constantly.
Router: Motorola SB 6141
Provider: Comcast
I use a ethernet cable by the way!

Solution
What you need to do is see where your problem really is. You want to open cmd windows and ping your router ip and some common internet address like 8.8.8.8 continuously. If you lose only the internet ip then it is a issue with your connection. If you lose the router ip also then it could be your PC or the router. You really need a second device to rule out the router. On the PC if you are getting errors the event viewer might give you a clue. When it is the PC itself causing issues it gets hard to find since it can be so many things.

if your sure that your router issues have been fixed then try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the ethernet adaptor and also in the power management options if available , try to set it to maximum performance

I'm not using wifi and also my computer doesn't have a wifi adapter in anyway. It also has issues when i plug in my ethernet straight to the modem.

Ethernet adaptor? My ethernet cable is just connected to the back of my computer.

I have also been having this issue with bright house, I would be playing an online video game and I would lose connection and have to log in again. The internet outage only lasted about 5-10 seconds. This is on both wifi and ethernet.

I'm still not sure if my issue is fixed but do you have any other Network adapters enabled on your PC?

Try these steps:
1. uninstall and reinstall the network adaptor drivers, be it ethernet or wifi, first download the drivers and then later uninstall and restart the computer and then install the drivers which you've downloaded
2. go to device manager> under network adaptors> do a rt click on the ethernet adaptor >click on properties >click on power management tab and uncheck the option of "Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power"
