So considering I will be buying high end card early 2015.

Is it bad idea to buy the placeholder card second hand from ebay?

I was planning on getting GTX 660 for around £110, but going down the second hand route I spend a lot less for a lot better.

Anyone has had experience buying second hand?

examples (I am in UK):
GTX 670 for £77 right now.
Even cheaper better card:
GTX 770 ongoing bids at £51

PS: how many good reviews on seller would rank them as trusted?

Stick to manufacturers that have good warranties that transfer, like msi, gigabyte, or evga, and stick to people with good ratings.

I tend to buy only if they are rated 95% or higher with long seller histories.
