Hi!

I am building a new extreme gaming rig and i would like to know whether you think i should get r9 290x crossfire, gtx 780ti sli or gtx titan sli. I will be using a 4k monitor at 60hz and will mostly be using my gpu for extreme gaming and for video editing.

Thank you

:)

290x cf is better, becuase it has more ram, 512bit memory controller and 64 ROP. they are make for 4k video gaming. when you sli or cf with a pair of 4gb graphic card , you only get 4g.

Personally, I would go with the 290x CF, partially because it's cheaper and provides nearly as high fps as the others. But keep in mind you need better cooling and airflow. But if you want more horsepower at 1080p, get the 780ti. The GTX Titan really doesn't make sense for a gaming build.

Well I would say the Titan SLI option is out. The 780Ti SLI option will outperform it. The Titans are really only relevant now if you are going to use them for GPGPU tasks with an emphasis on double precision floating point calculations. For gaming the 780TI outperforms the Titan for less money.

As for the 290X CrossFire option, if you can find them at a reasonable price (ie bitcoin miners haven't driven up the prices where you live) it makes a cheaper alternative to the 780Ti SLI option. Be sure to get them with non-reference coolers so they aren't throttling all the time. You'll need a beefier PSU for this combo versus the 780Ti option though.

Titan Black is overpriced. And about the Titan Z.....It costs as same as a entire cpu equipped with 2x 780ti and i7 4770.... :D  :D  :D  !! LOL!!! I am a nvidia fanboy, I admit. But to me titan series are piece of s**t...........

If you have the space and power required, definitely go with Crossfired ASUS R9 290X DCUII's http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSY1TBK. ASUS uses a great custom PCB with nice VRM cooling and the DCUII cooler is one of the quietest and most efficient coolers on the market.

Don't forget the ASUS card just looks great too.

Personally i would go with sli cause sli is superior to crossfire and it requires less power than crossfire. But if you want to save some money then go with the r9 290x. AND also nvidia cards produces much less heat than amd and also runs quiet. Hope i helped :)  :)

And one thing don't go with titan please if you only want for gaming unless you are also going to do GPGPU tasks.
