How to repair a seagate 1tb hdd

The drive is not being recognised by the computer
Der is a small light on top . It lights up momentarily but then goes off.
I have tried all solitions listed on dis site but i think its a hardware problem as it dies not work on any other computers. Also i have important data on it.

If you are sure it's not just a drive letter issue (ie needs drive letter manually assigning to it), the only way to get data off it is by sending/taking it to a data recovery specialist (very expensive).

You should never be in a position where important data is saved to only one drive (no backups)
as all hard drives fail sooner or later.

Well it doesnt show in disk management at all so i figured its a hardware problem
Correct me if im mistaken please

1. USB - SATA dock or cable. Plug it in to a different PC. See what happens.

2. Recover the data from your backup copy. No backup? Sad panda is sad....

3. Send it off to some data recovery service. $$$$

Doesnt work on other pc's either
And it was my only backup (feel so stupid ryt nw)

Maybe, if you find the exact same drive, with the exact same firmware...you might be able to swap the logic board. If that is actually the problem.

If it is the actual drive, you're pretty much out of luck.
