can you put a Nvdia graphics card in a asrock am3+ 970 motherboard?

Just got an Asrock 970 am3+ extreme 3 r2.0 motherboard and i was wondering if my Asus 1gb GTX 650 will work in the board as it should.

Yes, it will work fine. MB's are gfx card manufacturer/brand independent.

Yes, you should be able too. The MOB does have a PCIe-x16 slot.
You can not run SLI though. That MOB only supports Crossfire.
