how can i contact my administrater for office if my computer already had it installed

i need help finding a way to fix my microsoft office. my computer already had it installed but now there's some error and i need to know how to fix it
they say If Office was already installed on your computer supplied by your company or organization, contact your system administrator.
but i dont understand what they mean help please
i need microsoft office for a homework project:no::??:

so my computer already had microsoft office when i brought it it was 2010, but now it doesnt work when i tried it
i went into control panel , change and they said to enter product key but i dont have one and my computer already had it installed

That does not actually give any information about the error. When you try to start office, what exactly does it say?

Did it have the full Office version or maybe a demo? Or maybe it was installed using an illegal key?

You can get a free set of programs that do what MS Office does, www.openoffice.org or Libra Office.
