I own a Vizio Ct15-a1. I am trying to reinstall windows on the laptop, but I can't get the SSD to appear in Windows 7 install. The SSD appears in BIOS, but no matter what I do I can't get the thing to appear in the install. I'm just wondering if this is possibly a bad SSD or maybe I'm just doing something wrong.

I've tried installing drivers provided by Vizio, but I did happen to have the vanilla version of Windows 7. I'm getting a SP1 version now and I will get back to you if it works.
Thanks!

Do you think that even with the drivers the vanilla version wouldn't have worked?

Sorry, I'm not too familiar with Hard Drives and the likes, but when I contacted Vizio they did tell me it was in RAID. I'm not sure what that means, but do you think SP1 is necessary for RAID?

You might try (if you have Windows installer on the hdd still) reformatting the ssd. I bought an msata 840evo and it didn't show up until i went into the disk manager and formatted it
