Hi, my computer caught some type of virus a few days ago and I have tried everything I could think of to remove it. The virus won't let me connect to the internet (even in safe mode with networking ) I've ran malwarebytes and security essentials in safe mode and that didn't work either.

I have hijack this but I can't analyze the log because I can't connect to the internet. I don't have any system restore points and I can't restore to factory because I need the files on my computer.

I appreciate any help you will be able to give me

Solution
No. As you've already discovered, you cannot remove a virus from an active system. The method I've outlined is the only way to ensure that the virus/malware is not active while scanning.
Remove the drive, place it in a USB enclosure, and attach it externally to a known clean machine. Do a complete scan on the drive and remove everything that's detected. Ideally you would do this on at least 3 different machines, each running a different AV (no single AV is 100%). Remove the drive from the enclosure, reinstall it, fix any boot issues.
