Hey guys and gals I'm a noob in training can some please can someone be kind enough to advise me on a correct motherboard to upgrade to

These are my specs
Alienware Area 51 ALX
Msi MS-7543 V2.0 X58 LGA1366 Core i7 DDR3 Mb
Intel core i7 975 at 3.33 ghz
8GB DDR3 ram
2805MB AMD 5800 series GPU
500GB HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium

After a bad bios flash I couldn't find a fix (link below) so have to fork out on a new motherboard

I would recommend you to save up some money and get new motherboard and CPU!
LGA1366 is a really old platform but if you want to get X58 motherboard then buy this one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ASUS-P6X58D-E-X58-SATA-6GB-USB3-s1366-i7-/221399530394?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopMotherboards_CPUs_CA&hash=item338c70bb9a

Again think about getting new CPU and motherboard, that i7-4770K would be a lot faster than i7 975 because now i5-4670k is almost as fast as i7-990X!

Thanks kill streak but doesn't work

This is what I'm thinking of buying

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VI HERO Intel Z87

4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 4770K 3.50GHz Socket LGA1150

Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

All new and all for £465

Maximus VI Hero and i7-4770k is the best choice for price but for RAM take a look at G.Skill Ares, Ripjaws X or Sniper series RAM 2x4GB 1600/1866Mhz CL8/CL9 RAM

Thanks ahmadjon loving the look of it all ready

Any idea where I can buy a back plate for my cpu so I can use the built in alienware cpu fan

The black box that fits behind the motherboad is a different size is their some kind of conversion kit for 1366 to 1150?

I think no there is no adapter for 1150 but you can buy this awesome and cheap CPU cooler
Or you can use stock cooler
