HI, i Have Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600 MHz and I just ordered Intels H87rl MB. I want to increase the ram in this. will Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 MHz work properly along side the existing rams?

The two kits might not work together. Kits are tested to make sure that each stick will work with the others in the kit. Trying to match up different kits does not work a lot of the time. You can try it. At least you will have a decent 8GB kit for your system. Then sell the 4GB kit or build another system with it?
