I need help finding a ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 online for the right price!

I want to crossfire 2 ati radeon 5870s but i have had a lot of trouble trying to find one for the right price! someone was giving me 150 dollars for the one i had in my pc at the moment so im guessing thats what they go recently. I tried searching online and cant find one for a reasonable price!

Well I already have one of them so i just want the crossfire. I just found out ebay has them for less than $200 but im not sure if most of them have been heavily used or not.. most likely.

It is up to you but you can get a R9 280 for $280 and that will blow away anything a HD5870 CFX can do and as well will be new with a warranty. A lot of the HD5870s might have been used for mining which means they were pushed very hard heat wise..

That would be the best place to spend money instead of wasting $150-$200 on a used card that might work for a bit and might give you at best 50% better performance. As well AMD is not fully supporting the HD5000 series, meaning no real performance improvements from drivers.

Still your choice, I just think it is a mistake to buy something that is so old used.
