trying to install a internal 3tb HD and it booted
but my notification icons where missing so did a reboot. That was enough time for windows to dl a driver for the new drive,
Now I stick on windows startup screen with animation running but just sits there,
Removed drive ( had not even formatted yet)
Can get into safe mode
Hardware
have removed and tested ram
removed audio card and tested then replaced
Software
ran startup repair
chkdsk
sfc
debugging mode
used last known good configuration
ran memory diagnostic
every thing passes
have cleared Bios
Bios was updated a few days ago.
4870 x 2 drivers updated a few days ago
Screen had becoming pixelated and then BSOD due to atikmpag.sys
was working ok after that but I still not sure about graphics card. Do you think a card going bad could do this.
