Hi Everyone,
I accidentally formatted my laptops 1TB HDD main partiton from NTFS to some Linux filesystem I don't know, but aborted the process after about a minute of having started it. I've already tried at least a dozen different bootable recovery programs, but I currently don't have time to keep trying. I'm thinking of taking it to a data recovery center, but I don't know if the price is worth it, or if I even have enough money. How much do you think taking it to a data recovering facility would cost me? I already know its pretty expensive, but how much? Have been had a similar experience?

Below are several companies that specialize in this. In addition to these, if you will inform me of the brand and model number of the hard drive I will include a link to the "specialized in that brand" hard drive recovery company.

If you can find a live chat within one of these links you will get an immediate answer to the "how much does it cost" question. If you can't find live chat support, drop them an email. This is the only way that you'll get a definitive, accurate depiction of the true cost.

There are a lot of data recovery software and services you can choose from. Some are free and some also requires you to pay a cost. There are also data recovery services like WeRecoverData.com, they provide free consultation and evaluation of the problem and guide you to the right direction. Its in your own preference. Best of luck..
