Can this computer run Minecraft at 80+ FPS?

Solution
Try looking around for a 1000$ gaming build on the forums. It will out throw the mac right out of the water. Also if you want 80+ fps just bang together an i3 with a 660ti and 6-8 gigs of ram and your golden

Why would you but a PC that can barely run only 1 specific game?

In a few weeks/months you'll get bored with the game and will be bashing your head against the wall for not being able to play anything else.

Buy a computer that gives you at least some future proof.

I'd go for a fx 6300 six cores and it gets in the 400 fps range max settings with optifine. 60-100 with shaders

No. Minecraft only uses 1 CPU core. The other 5 would be wasted and totally unused. The i5 will be far faster.

Like I said above, IF YOU USE OPTIFINE which can use more than one core its not quite as fast as the i5 but half the price.

It's also on a dead-end socket with no upgrade path.
